Favorites!

More Favorites for you all!

1.  H&M baby Clothes!  I love shopping there to begin with but they have the cutest little baby stuff ever.  I actually picked up one of these little lady bug outfits for little baby b...possibly while we're at the hospital.

2.  Puppy Chow.  Sounds so good to me lately.  There is just something about it that tastes so good...probably the chocolate and sugar, right?!  Yumm!

3.  Making baby headbands.  My ottoman in our living room is consumed by crafty headband making supplies right now.  I LOVE making these cute things...and you better believe little baby b will be in one as much as possible!  :)

4.  Wimbledon.  It's on TV right now and keeping me occupied while I'm putting my poor swollen feet up for a rest in the afternoon.  I LOVE watching tennis on TV - so it's been great!  Although, my favorite, NADAL, just lost....boo!

5.  Mustela Stretch Mark Cream.  I'm using that stuff like crazy lately....also, it has a great smell and makes your skin feel nice and soft.  No definite stretch marks but I will admit I'm seeing a couple small lines starting to appear.  Just crossing my fingers it won't get worse!  :)

6.  ICE WATER!  Oh my...I drink like a gallon a day...it's sooooo good!  :)

ATU's

Here is how I live my Tuesday and Friday mornings.  Strapped up laying on a bed for 30+ minutes.  Then, I have to wait on the doctors for about the same amount of time.  It's actually quite relaxing if I do say so myself - but I'd be fine not having to do it if they weren't checking to make sure little baby b was okay.  Because of that, I'll do it as much as needed!  Only a few more weeks and she'll be here!  :)

My swollen toes...gotta love it!

35 Weeks

How far along?  35 weeks
Total weight gain:  +23 lbs
Maternity clothes? Definitely working the baby bump as much as possible until she’s born!  Anything tight with a sweater over and definitely lots of dresses!
Sleep:  Slept pretty descent while Whitney was here…no time for naps during the day so I slept through the night a bit better.
Stretch marks?  Still none…yet
Miss anything?  Not huffing and puffing, not feeling like I have to pee every time I get up from sitting down, being able to get off the couch or out of a bed like a normal person, greek salad with feta cheese, running, I think I could go on and on at this point  :)
Movement:  oh heavens yes, lots of it all the time.  Although, I don’t wake up to movement during the night like a few of my friends have, so that’s nice.
Food Cravings: nothing real specific just wanting the usual fruit, sweets (like puppy chow), and lots and lots of WATER…also I really still want that Coldstone!!!
Anything making you sick or queasy:  not really
Gender:  better be a girl…I have lots of pink in her room! ;)
Labor signs:  a few contractions…small ones though
Symptoms: cramps in my calves during the night, swelling in my legs, ankles, and fingers…also have developed numbness in my fingers and carpal tunnel in my hands
Belly Button in or out?  That sucker is still in!
Wedding rings on or off?  On
Mood: getting anxious and a bit nervous but feeling pretty good
Excitement this week: Jill and Whitney helping me finish the nursery!  I can’t wait to complete it!  We are so so close.
Looking forward to:  KYLE COMING HOME…it’s looking like he’ll be able to come back on time…pray for no C-5 breaking!  Also, absolutely can’t wait to meet my sweet baby girl.  AND…my family coming out to see her!  (Just have to get through labor first...eek!)
On the agenda:   Pack a hospital bag!!!!!  Make some random crafts, why not?!

More Nursery Sneak Peeks

I took some fun photos of little baby b's nursery....they're only to tease you a bit!  :)  I've been working really hard at finishing it up (since my due date is only a few weeks away).  I've also had some help from a very special friend...you know who you are!  She's been great working with me a couple days to hang all sorts of things, put all sorts of things together, and sort all sorts of itty bitty baby clothes!

I can't wait to show you all the finished product but I'm going to have to actually finish it in order to do so.  I may wait until little baby b makes her arrival...we'll see!

Maternity clothes? Definitely working the baby bump as much as possible until she’s born!  Anything tight with a sweater over and definitely lots of dresses!
Sleep:  sleeping is slightly better with Kyle gone.  Just not waking up when he leaves for work…I’d rather him be here, though!
Stretch marks?  Still none…yet
Miss anything?  Everything about not being pregnant!  :)
Movement:  hiccups—cutest thing ever, kicking the crap out of my ribs the past few days
Food Cravings: fruit, sweets, and lots and lots of WATER
Anything making you sick or queasy:  not really
Gender:  my sweet baby girl
Labor signs:  a few small, barely noticeable contractions
Symptoms: swelling in my legs, ankles, and fingers…also have developed numbness in my fingers and carpal tunnel in my hands…what is going on with me?!?!
Belly Button in or out?  IN!

Mood: happy and stressed a little to finish everything!
Excitement this week: Friday at 9:30 when I’m done with all my appointments!   :)
Looking forward to:  Whitney coming to see me for a few days and help with some last minute stuff.  Also, my friend Jill will be coming over to help organize!....she’s so great!
Looking forward to Kyle coming home and of course, little baby b’s arrival!

All appointments went very well.  Little baby b is in the 60th percentile and growing…so that is very good!  Still going in twice a week for my ATU’s and they are going pretty well.  My blood pressure has been pretty good still!

Happy Father’s DAY!

Some Sunday Favorites

Here are a few of my favorite things lately!

1.  Lucy's Trumpette Socks.  I got these from my friend, Annie, for little baby b.  Aren't they absolutely adorable?!?!  I'm so excited to put them on her little feet when she arrives!

2.  Britax B-Ready Stroller.  This is the stroller we went with.  It can convert to a double stroller as well when we decide to have more kids years from now.  :)  The seat you see there in the picture actually comes out and I can put in her car seat or the little bassinet we got if we want to take her on a walk.  Once again, I'm so excited to put her in it!

3.  Chevron Striped Changing bag.  It's an all-in-one type of bag.  It comes with a changing pad and then you can add a wipes case and diapers.  It's pretty adorable and don't forget about those gray chevron stripes.  I do not own this but I want it!  :)

4.  Boppy Cover.  I love the light pink damask pattern.  It also has gray minky on the other side.  I ordered this off of etsy.

5.  Vulli Sophie The Giraffe Teether.  I do not have one of these yet for little baby b but I hear they are a must so I'll probably be purchasing one or two of these in the future.

33 week 3D/4D

Here are some of the adorable pictures from my 3D/4D ultrasound at 33 weeks.  It's getting a lot tighter in there for her.

Kyle was gone so I took my best friends Brittany and her little girl, Paige, and Jill with me.  Paige was so cute during the ultrasound.  She waved and blew kisses at little baby b the whole time.  It was adorable!  They're already little buddies!  I can't wait for them to meet!

My friends say she has Kyle's nose but my lips and then looks like me.  My mom and sister don't agree with the nose part, they think she has my nose.  Let me know if you think any different.

her little profile

her hands up by her face

just hanging out in the belly

sticking out her tongue

open mouth

yawning

she was not very happy here

I love this one of her nose and mouth....I think she was smiling at us here.

Crib is up!

Since Kyle is leaving for about a month we got busy setting up the things I can't carry and were able to set up the crib.  About time, right!?!  Sad thing is it only took about 20-30 minutes, which made me frustrated it was in my entryway for so long.  haha...oh well!  So I took a few pictures along the way while Kyle was setting the crib up...he said to apologize for not having a shirt on.  But we HAD to have evidence for little baby b of her crib being set up by her daddy.  Thanks to my mom and dad, again, for giving us money to buy the crib!  You guys are the best!

reading the instructions

starting with the first screw

had to take a pic of his beer with the screws and washers

oops...put the side on backwards so turning

now adding the other side

adding the springs...or whatever you want to call that thing that holds the matress

all done!  :)

put one of the sheets I have on

had to take a pic with a few accessories..of course

Baby Shower Pictures

Once again, Thank you to all my Air Force family and friends and my family and friends from back home for making the shower for little baby b unforgettable.  Thank you for all the absolutely AMAZING gifts.  Also, a special thanks to Brittany and Jill.  They did such an awesome job on the shower as you can see by the pics below.  Truly thee very best of friends a girl could ask for.

The welcome sign...so cute...it kinda matches the invites!

The favors we made for everyone.  We made homemade lotion out of coconut oil, baby lotion, and vitamin E cream.

the favors.

I made a few onesies as a little decoration.  The airplane was definitely a hit with all the Air Force wives! :)

onesies

We didn't have games so we had everyone make a headband for little baby b.

Some of the decorations we made for the table.

Your wishes for little baby b

The activity table

The food.

pink plates and silverware, of course.

pesto salad, edamame salad, fruit skewers with fruit dip, grape salad

spinach dip and bread

The baby letters we painted pink

The ultrasound picture frame on the dessert table.

Chocolate pretzels, the best sugar cookies, strawberry puffs, cream cheese mints

chocolate covered marshmallows, cake, cream cheese mints, and fruit tarts made by Jj

The full dessert table again.  We had a slight issue with the cake.  It was a custard filled white cake with whipped cream icing that was suppose to be very light pink....not so light pink...more like hot pink....oh well.

The adorable burlap 'little baby b' sign...don't you just love it!?!

White Sangria, Preggo Punch for the Preggy Peggies at the shower, pink and white & pink striped paper straws.
